Courses of IBD-BISEW IT Scholarship Project

IDB-BISEW is now one of the most popular IT Scholarship provider institutions of Bangladesh. It was established following an agreement between Government of Bangladesh and the Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Arabia. The students who have passed Bachelor's (Honours/ Pass Course) or the Master's degree examination can apply for the IT scholarship. The Diploma students who have already finished their courses in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction and Survey are also eligible for this scholarship programme. But the person who was a student of any engineering courses could not apply. The students intake would take place between three to four times in a project year of IBD-BISEW.

The IT project of IDB (Islamic Development Bank)-BISEW (Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Educational Wakf) is actually a technology skills improvement project under which the scholarship winners are offered with a year-long training on a specific course leading to a professional diploma. These courses are world class and very demand-able all around the world. After finishing the course every candidate gets a facility to acquire an international vendor or online  certification from Microsoft and Oracle. Here are the IT courses of IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship Project.
01. Computer Fundamentals
  • Course Duration: 140 Hours
  • Name of Module: Concepts of Information Technology, Word Processing, Database, Using the Computer and Managing Files, Spreadsheets, Presentation, Information and Communication.
02. Networking Technologies (ID-NT)
  • Course Duration: 868 Hours
  • Name of Module: Hardware Fundamentals, Microsoft Windows 7 Administering and Configuring, Configuring Network Infrastructure of Windows Server 2008, Data Communication Systems, Configuring Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, System Administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Administering Windows Enterprise Server 2008, Configuring and Managing Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Database Service, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Essentials, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Network Services and Security Administration
03. Web-presence Solutions & Implementations (ID-WPSI)
  • Course Duration: 940 Hours
  • Name of Module:Web Publishing, Database Driven Web Application using programming language PHP, MySQL & content management system Joomla, Application development using AJAX, Ext JS, Code Igniter & JQuery, Graphics & Animation, .Net Framework 4.0, XML, Web Applications by Using Microst.Net Framework 4.0
04. Database Design and Development (ID-DDD)
  • Course Duration: 860 Hours
  • Name of Module:Database Fundamentals, Oracle10g-SQL,Oracle 10g:Program with PL/SQL, Oracle10g Report Developer, Oracle10g Forms Developer-Internet Applications, DBA Fundamentals, Project ready.
05. Enterprise Systems Analysis and Design - C# .NET (ID-ESAD - CS)
  • Course Duration: 1040 Hours
  • Name of Module:Programming with C #, Mark-Up Languages, Accessing Data with ADO.NET, Web Applications using Microsoft .NET Framework, O-O Systems Analysis and Design with UML and Microsoft Visio 2003, Designing and implementing databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition, Windows Communication Foundation Development, Designing and Developing Web Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework
06. Enterprise Systems Analysis and Design - J2EE (ID-ESAD - J2EE)
  • Course Duration: 940 Hours
  • Name of Module:Web Publishing, Database Development using Oracle 10g, O-O System Analysis and Design using UML, JAVA-Object Oriented Programming, Software Development using JAVA and XML, Server Side Programming using ServletsJSTL, Struts2.0, JSP, Jasper Report & Hibernate, Sun Certified Java Programmer.
07. Computer Assisted Animation (ID-CAA)
  • Course Duration: 856 Hours
  • Name of Module:Drawing & Illustration,Free Hand Sketching, Photo Editing & Texturing, Digital Audio & Video Editing and Storyboarding Basics, Fundamentals of 2D Animation & Interactivity, 3D Modelling, Texturing & Animation, Post Production & Composition, Practical Project, HTML & CSS.
08. Architectural and Civil CAD (ID-ACAD)
  • Course Duration: 740 Hours
  • Name of Module:Designing, Modelling and Drafting with AutoCAD, Engineering, Modelling & Drafting with Revit Architecture, Autodesk 3DS Max-3D Modelling & Animation ,CAD Drawings with Adobe Photoshop, Implementing Project Management Principles, Microsoft Project Practices.

Course NO.1 (Computer Fundamentals) is common to all. After getting this Scholarship from IBD-BISEW every student must participate to finish this course to acquiring basic knowledge related to information technology.
